m-PPE's standout property ist sein near-zero moisture absorption (<0.1%) combined with outstanding hydrolysis resistance — making it the material of choice for hot-water-contact components like pump housings, water meter bodies, and dishwasher spray arms. Unlike PA66 which swells and loses strength in water, m-PPE maintains its mechanical properties and dimensional stability indefinitely in aqueous environments, even at elevated temperatures.

Processing: Melt temperature 260-300 °C, mold temperature 80-100 °C.

Materials scoring 8+ require specialized hoch-temperature ausrüstung und experienced molders.
