PEEK GF30 (30% glass fiber reinforced) is the most cost-effective reinforced PEEK grade, offering 60% higher tensile strength than unfilled PEEK at a more moderate cost premium than CF30. Glass fiber provides excellent stiffness, good dimensional stability, and improved HDT without the electrical conductivity of carbon fiber (important for electronic applications). It is the standard reinforced PEEK grade for structural components in chemical processing, medical devices, and general industrial applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose PEEK GF30 over PEEK CF30?
Choose GF30 when: (1) cost is a factor (GF30 is 15-25% cheaper than CF30), (2) electrical insulation is required (CF30 is conductive), (3) the part contacts mating metal surfaces (GF30 is less abrasive than CF30), (4) moderate strength improvement over unfilled PEEK is sufficient (160 MPa vs 220 MPa for CF30). Choose CF30 only when maximum strength and stiffness are the primary design requirements.
